2.3 Payment information
If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, including Platinum Club or other future paid offerings, payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor identified at checkout.
We do not store full payment card details on our own servers. We may receive limited billing and transaction information from the processor, such as payment status, subscription status, invoice identifiers, and related metadata, where needed to manage your account and paid features.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information for the following purposes:

We do not use your email address for general marketing unless we clearly introduce that separately and obtain consent where required.
4. Public and private content
JPSNT is a community platform, which means some information is intended to be visible to other users or, depending on the feature, to the public.

We do not provide private messages or private profile data to advertisers.
5. Cookies, similar technologies, and analytics
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- to keep users signed in
- to maintain security and prevent abuse
- to remember settings and preferences
- to understand site usage and improve performance, where permitted
Essential technologies
Some cookies or similar technologies are strictly necessary for the Service to function properly. These may be used without separate consent where permitted by law.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and may use similar analytics tools to understand how the Service is used, such as which pages are visited, how features perform, and how users move through the site.
Analytics tools may collect information such as:
- pages visited
- browser and device information
- approximate location
- interaction and session data
Where required by law, we will seek consent before using non-essential analytics technologies.
You can also control some cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect how the Service works.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where laws such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases, depending on the processing involved:
- Performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to provide the Service you requested.
- Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and support the Service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent — where we ask for it, such as for certain cookies, analytics, or optional communications.
- Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with applicable law.
7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for unrelated third-party marketing.
We share information only in the following circumstances:

We may share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it does not reasonably identify you.

9. International transfers
We and our service providers may process or store personal information in countries outside your own, including outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.
Where required by law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or reliance on recognised adequacy mechanisms.
By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your home country.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Service, maintain safety, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
By way of example:
- Account information is generally kept while your account remains active.

- Billing and transaction records may be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes.
When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise personal information within a reasonable period unless we need to retain some information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, moderation, or other legitimate business reasons.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
