Terms of Service — JPSNT³

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of JPSNT³ (also referred to as “Just PSN Trophies”) at justpsntrophies.com and related services (the “Service”), operated by Scarlett Media Lab (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Our Community Guidelines form part of these Terms and are incorporated into them by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
1.1 Age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may need a parent or guardian’s permission to use certain features, and you confirm you have any permission required by law.
1.2 Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account unless you notify us promptly of unauthorised use.
1.3 One account per person
You may not create or use additional accounts to evade enforcement, bans, restrictions, or other limits applied to your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used for that purpose.
1.4 Email verification
Certain features are only available after you verify your email address, including, without limitation, posting comments, sending and receiving direct messages, using the messages inbox, and following other users. Other features may be added to this list as the Service evolves.
1.5 Staff and impersonation
Moderators and administrators may be identified in the Service. You must not impersonate staff, Scarlett Media Lab, Sony Interactive Entertainment, or any other third party.
2. What the Service is
JPSNT³ is an online community focused on PlayStation trophy screenshots, including uploading and sharing captures, browsing games and trophies, discovering content, commenting, rating captures, profiles and showcases, leaderboards and XP, social features such as follows and direct messages, notifications, and optional paid features such as Platinum Club.
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or change features from time to time. We aim to keep the Service reasonably available and may carry out maintenance. Where practicable, we will try to give notice of scheduled maintenance.
Some parts of the Service rely on user-submitted, imported, or third-party catalogue data. We do not guarantee that all game, trophy, rarity, leaderboard, XP, or related information will always be complete, current, or error-free.
3. Your content
3.1 What you upload or post
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as screenshots, titles, descriptions, comments, profile text, and images. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to submit that content and that it does not breach these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
3.2 Licence to us
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and otherwise use your content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, improve, moderate, and technically deliver the Service.
This licence ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent we must retain copies for legal, security, moderation, fraud-prevention, backup, or compliance reasons, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3.3 Screenshots and trophy claims
Uploads must honestly relate to the game and trophy they are submitted under. Misleading, false, or deliberately mismatched uploads, including false trophy claims, breach these Terms and may be removed or lead to enforcement action.
3.4 Ratings
Ratings and feedback on screenshots reflect the subjective opinions of users. We do not guarantee any particular rating outcome or visibility level for any content.
3.5 Moderation of uploads
Screenshots and other submissions may be reviewed before or after publication. We may approve, reject, restrict, remove, or otherwise moderate content where we reasonably consider it necessary to enforce these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the safety and integrity of the Service.
Publication is not guaranteed. Moderation decisions are generally final, subject to any appeal process we make available.
3.6 Profile and community standards
Your profile, including your avatar, header, bio, country display, and other public activity, must comply with these Terms and the Community Guidelines. Content involving harassment, commercial spam, unlawful material, NSFW material where not permitted, or other prohibited conduct may be removed without notice where we consider it necessary.
4. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable law or third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, and data protection rights.
- Harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, or harm others, including doxxing or encouraging others to do so.
- Post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable content, as determined by us in line with our moderation policies.
- Spam, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service.
- Use bots, scripts, automation, exploits, or other unfair methods to interact with the Service or manipulate XP, leaderboards, time tracking, ratings, or statistics.
- Circumvent security features, bans, technical restrictions, or rate limits.
- Upload malware, phishing content, or other harmful code, or attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, including any affiliation with Sony, PlayStation, or JPSNT staff.
- Use the Service to commit fraud or distribute scams, phishing attempts, or malicious content.
We may investigate reports and suspected misuse and may take action including warnings, content removal, restrictions, suspensions, and account termination.
5. Intellectual property
5.1 The Service
The Service name, logo, branding, site design, software, and all related rights, excluding your content and third-party property, are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our branding except as permitted by us in writing or by built-in sharing features of the Service.
5.2 Games, trophies, and third-party data
Game titles, trophy names, artwork, icons, and related metadata may be provided through catalogue data, imports, partners, or other third-party sources. Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation, PSN, game publishers, and other rights holders retain all rights in their respective intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of those rights.
PlayStation, PSN, and related marks are trademarks of Sony Interactive Entertainment. JPSNT³ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sony Interactive Entertainment or its affiliates. All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners.
5.3 Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us at support@justpsntrophies.com with enough detail for us to locate the material and understand your complaint. We may remove or disable access to content where appropriate. Repeat infringement may lead to account termination.
6. Community features
6.1 Direct messages
Direct messages are intended to be private between participants. However, we may review, preserve, or disclose messages where reasonably necessary to investigate reports, enforce these Terms or the Community Guidelines, protect users or the Service, or comply with law, as further explained in our Privacy Policy.
6.2 Follow and block
You may follow or block other users where the Service provides those tools. Blocking may limit how another user can interact with you or see your content, subject to the limits of the product.
6.3 Notifications
We may send notifications about activity on the Service, including account, moderation, social, or content-related events. You can manage notification preferences where the Service allows.
7. Moderation and enforcement
7.1 Actions we may take
We may take actions including warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, suspensions, or account bans where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
Restrictions may include, for example:
- Full site ban — access to the Service suspended or terminated
- Messaging ban — direct messages restricted
- Comment ban — commenting restricted
- Upload ban — screenshot uploads restricted
7.2 Reports
You may report concerns through the reporting tools provided on the Service. We review reports in line with our moderation practices, but we do not guarantee a particular outcome, response time, or enforcement result.
7.3 Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was applied in error, you may appeal by email to support@justpsntrophies.com within 14 days of the decision.
Your appeal should include:
- your username and registered email address
- a brief description of the action taken
- why you believe the action was mistaken or should be reconsidered
We aim to acknowledge receipt of appeals within a reasonable time and, where practicable, to respond within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed at our discretion, and we are not obliged to reverse a decision.
7.4 Law enforcement and safety
We may preserve and disclose information where required by lawful and valid requests, or where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of users, staff, Scarlett Media Lab, or the Service.
8. Platinum Club and payments
8.1 What Platinum Club includes
Platinum Club is an optional paid subscription that may include benefits such as:
- higher or unlimited daily screenshot uploads compared to free-tier limits
- faster or automatic approval of uploads where supported
- additional profile showcase slots
- extended activity history on your profile
- a Platinum badge and related visual treatment
- longer bio and other profile limits as shown on the Service
- higher comment rate limits and unlimited or higher daily direct message limits compared to free tiers
- removal of advertising on the Service where ads are shown to free users
Exact benefits, restrictions, and limits are shown in the product and on the Platinum Club pages at /platinum-club and may change from time to time. We will not materially reduce benefits already paid for during the current paid period except where reasonably necessary for legal, technical, operational, or security reasons.
8.2 Fees and taxes
Pricing is shown on the Service, for example £1.99 per month or £19.99 per year, where applicable. UK VAT, where applicable, is included in the displayed price unless stated otherwise at checkout.
We may change prices with reasonable notice. Price changes apply to renewals after that notice takes effect.
8.3 Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe or another provider identified at checkout. You authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method for applicable fees.
8.4 Subscription and renewal
Paid plans may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription through account settings, the Platinum Club page, Stripe’s customer portal, or any equivalent billing interface we provide.
8.5 Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend Platinum Club benefits until payment succeeds. We may provide a short grace period where our systems support it.
8.6 Cancellation
If you cancel, you will usually keep Platinum Club benefits until the end of the current paid period, unless we state otherwise at checkout or where suspension is required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
8.7 Refunds
If you are a consumer in the UK or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, you may have statutory rights regarding digital services, cancellation, or refunds. Refund requests are otherwise considered on a case-by-case basis where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
8.8 Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute in a way we reasonably consider abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with a genuine billing issue, we may suspend or terminate your account or subscription access until the matter is resolved.
9. Account closure and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request account deletion in line with our Privacy Policy and any deletion tools or support process we provide.
Deleting or closing your account does not automatically require us to delete all data immediately where we must retain certain information for legal, moderation, fraud-prevention, security, operational, or compliance reasons.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including those relating to intellectual property, liability, payments already due, moderation records, and dispute-related matters, will continue to apply after your use of the Service ends.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any game data, trophy data, rarity figures, third-party catalogue information, leaderboards, XP values, or other content will always be accurate, complete, or available.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss
- loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, or anticipated savings
- loss of data, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded by law
- loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of:
- £100, or
- the total amount you paid us for Platinum Club in the 12 months before the claim arose
If you have not paid us during that period, the cap above still applies to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this section affects rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under consumer protection law.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scarlett Media Lab and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction with mandatory rights to bring claims locally, nothing in these Terms overrides those mandatory rights.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the Last updated date.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice, such as a notice on the Service, an account notification, or an email where appropriate.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires a different process.
